It's tome for a new Sparkles Monthly Challenge

the theme this month is

'use ribbon, raffia or twine'

I have used twine 

 I made the butterflies and leaf with a new layering die I found in the sales

The background is patterned paper and I made the twine border by simply gluing around the edge and (carefully) laying the twine on top

the sentiment is an old stamp

Lace and Pearls

not things I would normally use but here it is

 The lace and pearls are on the side and I have drawn a tangle with a white gel pen

Tropical

It's the last Cardz 4 Galz challenge this year!!

the new theme is

'in with the new' or use your new stash

here is my take

 I used a new stamp and die set which I got for Christmas which included the leaves, flowers and flamingo 

The washi tape and patterned paper were included in my advent calendar 

The 'hello' was also in my new set and I heat embossed it with some new embossing powder

Vintage

It's time for a new Sparkles Monthly Challenge

the new theme is 

Vintage Christmas/Vintage occasion

here is my take

 Vintage is NOT my thing but I did remember getting a set of stamps in a bundle which were Vintage-y

so I stamped the tree in green distress ink (to give it a Vintage-y feel) and it came out nice so I stamped another and heat embossed it

I added a gold glitter border and big red baubles

I also had some stickers (from another bundle - I love bundles) which were 'traditional Christmas' so decorated the rest of the card with them

Penguins

It's time for a new Winter Wonderland challenge

 I printed and coloured the penguins and heat embossed the sentiment

Snow Globe

Wow it's December already and it's time for a new Cardz 4 Galz challenge

the theme is 'it's snow time'

here is my take

The snow globe and snowman are stamped and coloured

the falling snow is hand drawn

I cut out the snow globe and stuck it onto some patterned paper 

then added a die cut sentiment and glitter glue
