I have used 3 bears

they are stamped, coloured and die cut 

glued to a patterned paper background

Crafty Card

Today is the new Cardz 4 Galz challenge

here is my take

 

I used my check washi tape and stuck it down in a check(ish) pattern

I wanted to make a card for a crafty person so I used my stamp with die set for a sentiment and crafty equipment pictures

Black, white and red

 Today is a new Cardz 4 Galz challenge

the new theme is

'black, white and one other colour'

here is my take

I have used red as my other colour

The lower pattern I made directly on the card blank and randomly stamped the hearts and stars in red and dots in black

I stamped and coloured the lady birds at the top with a tiny sentiment

I would have used washi tape to divide the top from the bottom but I didn't have any in red so I used a strip of red card which actually works just as well

Selfie Pals

Today is a new Cardz 4 Galz Challenge

the new theme is

'get inky'

here is my take

 

I made the red and gold paper by using ink sprays (great fun, very messy)

It was die cut into the 3 selfie frames and I decided they would look good on black card

My new peek a boo stamps and die sets came out to play again

On the background I doodled some bubbles

Triangles

Today is a new Cardz 4 Galz Challenge

the new theme is

'triangles' (my choice)

here is my take

 I had new 'peek a boo' stamps with matching dies to try out so I had to incorporate them

I designed the background with triangle cut outs and pen sentiment on my Cricut and had it cut and draw it for me

I inked it with pink, purple and light blue distress inks, added pink card behind and tucked in the stamped and die cut animals with their paws going over the edge

I added sparkle in their eyes and on the sentiment and glitter glue around the triangle cut outs

Christmas Trees

Today is the next Cardz 4 Galz challenge

here is my take

 I have gone with a Christmas card which is designed it with 'Tuesday morning sketches' sketch and the colours from 'Christmas card throwdown'

The trees, sentiment and background are all die cut

The strip is sparkly washi tape

and I have decorated with green star embellishments

Crowned Birthday

Welcome to a ne Cardz 4 Galz challenge

the new theme is

'sentiment as the focal point'

here is my take

 

I have used one on my 'fancy' fonts that I download, install and never use so I was very happy to use it

I had my cricut draw out the sentiment and I used offset to cut it out

The background is pink and purple distress inks and a washi tape border

The sentiment is coloured in using my favourite girly colour pallet and was stuck on using 3d glue pads (or whatever they are called!)

Glittery nuvo drops and gold glitter pen decorate the crowns

Cake

A new Cardz 4 Galz Challenge starts today

the new theme is

'food or drink'

here is my take

 

The cakes are separate stamps which I stamped into a stack, coloured and added sprinkles

I designed and cut the sentiment on the cricut and added die cut smiley emojis' to show that I was joking (of course I'm joking, I would never share cake!)

All were arranged with a patterned paper background

here is my take

 

The unicorn is a digi stamp from Kinda cute of course I coloured her in with pinks and sparkle on her horn

The rainbow and clouds are dies made from pink cards (with a little bit of purple)

Easter Bunny Box

A new Cardz 4 Galz challenge starts today

here is my take

 

I made this Easter Bunny from a file from My Scrap Chick 

I sent the file into my Cricut machine and it cut all the pieces out for me but if you don't have a cutting machine you can print it out and cut it with scissors

Once assembled I filled it with chocolate

Elephant party

The new Cardz 4 Galz challenge starts today

the theme is

'zoo or safari animals' (my choice)

here is my take

 

I used my elephant stamps to make 3 elephants at a party

the three elephants were stamped and coloured 

the balloon I stamped and cut out to stick on later

I chose a rainbow paper from my stash

the grass is just two tones of green

to finish there is a glitter glue border and 3d enamel effect balloon string

Chickie Birthday

Today is a new Cardz 4 Galz Challenge

I have used my cute chicks

I stamped my chicks, cake and sentiment and because it is a card for Galz I gave them a pink colour scheme

They are mounted on pink patterned paper, decorated with nuvo drops and I added a glitter glue border

Kraft

 Here is the new Cardz 4 Galz challenge

the new theme is

'use kraft'

here is my take

I heat embossed the sentiment, added the lines top and bottom and freehand drew zentangle 'flowers' using a black fine liner pen and a white gel pen

I have drawn similar patterns on black card with a white pen but this is my first time drawing on kraft.  I found it was a bit uneven although this is packaging card perhaps if I bought kraft card it might be smoother but I've never felt the need to buy it

Sparkle

It's time for a new Cardz 4 Galz challenge

the new theme is

'make it sparkle'

here is my take

 

The background is glitter paper

I used stamp and die cut unicorns and a die cut sentiment

I used 3d enamel effect to draw the border, set it to one side to dry and put a paper on top of it 😱!!! nooooooo!!!! so the line is a bit thicker in places than it should be 😆

here is my take

 I used a new stamp and die set which I got for Christmas which included the leaves, flowers and flamingo 

The washi tape and patterned paper were included in my advent calendar 

The 'hello' was also in my new set and I heat embossed it with some new embossing powder

the falling snow is hand drawn

Pear ATC

Today is a new Cardz 4 Galz Challenge 

the new theme is

'fruits and/or vegetables'

here is my take

an ATC

Stamped using 'a partridge in a pear tree' stamping set and I added some 3D enamel effect on the circles

I divided up the background into diamonds, coloured them in randomly and redrew the lines with my new favourite thing a stickles gold glitter glue
