Boat

Hello again

I have made an unusual card today

This is an unusual sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches, it looks like an envelope
I thought that two different embossed patterns would look good together and I came up with this design
I embossed the 'sea' in blue card and the 'sky' in purple
I die cut the boat and sentiment in black so it would stand out and fit better with the background
The edges of the triangle looked a bit rough so I drew glitter glue along to tidy them up and add sparkle
(just noticed that the sentiment is supposed to be along the top and mine is along the bottom! so I am saying that it fell down and couldn't get up again)

I am linking this card with

&

challenge #160 embossing folders

bye for now

  1. Such a great idea to use 2 different embossingfolders to create this card. The lovely boat is a great finishing touch.

  2. Next time that sentiment should remember to wear a life jacket on the high seas, then instead of sinking it might have floated back up to the top! I totally love the way you used the embossing. Great card to share at TMS! Hugs, Debi

  3. Ooh I love all the texture. I have to tell you this, I video chat with my sister every Sunday and while I work on whatever she's usually knitting. Today she was working on a washcloth and I swear the pattern/colors look just like your card! Gorgeous!! Thank you for joining us at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
