Apple Trees

The new Sparkles Monthly challenge starts today

the new theme is

'Men' 

here is my take

I made this card for my brother who has just planted some apple trees 

The trees are die cut from green card and I inked the trunk and branches with brown copic leaving the green leaves

The background is distress ink simply applied as grass and sky

I glued the trees down and added the apples using nuvo drops 

I made two tone apples by putting down the green drop and adding a red drop directly to it

and finished by adding the trees shadows and some fallen fruit

Dad Monsters

It's the 15th and that means a new Sparkles Monthly starts

the new theme is

'things with wings'

I have combined the wings with my fathers day card

 

I stamped the little monsters from my 'make a monster' stamp set where you have separate bodies, eyes, mouths and other accessories including wings which you can combine in any way you want

These were coloured and die cut 

The background is one I made myself using shaving foam!

I added some more colour by stamping eyes, from the same set, in yellow around the monsters and over the sentiment

Man Card

It's the 15th so there is a new Sparkles monthly challenge starting today

here is my take

 I used my stamps which were of what men like

they are all coloured and have 3d enamel effects and glossy accents on them where needed

I finished it off with a red border and a die cut sentiment

Car Card

 Hi fellow crafters

 

 I have made a man card today

 

I made the panel by colouring some paper with ink, when it had dried I stamped the cars and trimmed it so the pattern goes off the edge which is a look that I like

The border was made with an alcohol marker as I don't have brown card

The sentiment is stamped

BBQ with kraft

 Hi crafters

 I have made a man card using kraft and a man favourite the BBQ

 The frame was die cut out of kraft and I stamped various BBQ images onto the cut outs

I used tape pressed onto a brown ink pad to make lines onto the white card blank 

I made the outer frame by die cutting a large window

and assembled

Fisherman

 Hello

 I have made a fisherman card today

I stenciled the fish using metallic silver gilding paste onto blue

I made a tiny hook using wire and joined on some twine for the fishing line

The 'worm' is a piece of pipe cleaner and the sentiment is heat embossed

Holy Ship

Hi again

I have made a fancy fold nautical theme man card today

Here it is closed

and here it is open

and half way

I made this card by using an embossing folder two differant ways.  One I coloured by inking the raised bits after embossing and the second by inking the embossing folder itself

I die cut the extra ships and coloured them

and made the sentiment on my label making machine

and assembled
