The image was printed out and I added stamped holly and ivy to give it a sort of border

Christmas Trees

Today is the next Cardz 4 Galz challenge

here is my take

 I have gone with a Christmas card which is designed it with 'Tuesday morning sketches' sketch and the colours from 'Christmas card throwdown'

The trees, sentiment and background are all die cut

The strip is sparkly washi tape

and I have decorated with green star embellishments

Ginger hot tub

Gift Parachutes

Here is the new Winter Wonderland challenge

the theme this month is

'Christmas presents' (my choice!)

the sponsor this month is Stampers Delights

the digi I got to play with is Xmas gift parachute

the gift parachute and the tree come as different images so you can really play with this one

I arranged the tree with two gift parachutes, printed and coloured them in 

The sentiment was heat embossed and I added the falling holly with a stamp

The snow under the tree is 'puff embossing powder', which expands, or 'puffs', when you heat it, and I love to use it for snow or clouds

Using a white gel pen to on the baubles and berries is a great way to make them look shiny

Vintage

It's time for a new Sparkles Monthly Challenge

the new theme is 

Vintage Christmas/Vintage occasion

here is my take

 Vintage is NOT my thing but I did remember getting a set of stamps in a bundle which were Vintage-y

so I stamped the tree in green distress ink (to give it a Vintage-y feel) and it came out nice so I stamped another and heat embossed it

I added a gold glitter border and big red baubles

I also had some stickers (from another bundle - I love bundles) which were 'traditional Christmas' so decorated the rest of the card with them

make it small

Today is a new Sparkles Monthly challenge

the theme this time is

'make it small'

Any of these suggestions -

 Inchies/Twinchies/ATCs, Bookmark, Gift card Holder, Postcard, Fat Page, Card less than 4"sq.,  earrings,  Gift Tags, whatever, as long as it is SMALL

I found ATCs (artist trading cards which are 3.5" by 2.5") early this year, they are different from greeting cards in that you make them to swap with others and it is quite addictive especially as once you have made and swapped ATCs you find yourself making ATCoins (2.5" round), twinchies (2" square) and the tiny inchies (1" square)

You can find groups on Facebook which organise monthly swaps and you can also have your own album for swapping

so for this challenge I have made a Christmas ATC

The Santa is stamped, coloured and cut out, the stocking is die cut which I was given in a swap and I added a twine loop

I 'made' the Christmas lights with 3D enamel effect in various colours

Candy Canes

I have made another shaker card

I made the jar shaker with die cuts and decorated the background with stamped candy canes, sentiments, stars and nuvo drops

the shaker inners are sweet die cuts and I finished it off with a twine bow

Pine Cones

It's time for a new Winter Wonderland challenge

here is my take

I arranged the images on the computer  with some text

coloured and mounted onto green card
