I used blue monochrome which I haven't done before, I do like it although it's not quite cheerful enough for a Birthday card so I added the 'thinking of you sentiment' instead which I think works nicely

'texture'
here is my take
the seahorses, which are a digi stamp from Kinda Cute, were coloured in loosely based on the Ty beanie baby which I used to have
I added more texture with 3d enamel effect for the seaweed and some nuvo glitter drops
it was finished off with fishy washi tape

The new Winter Wonderland challenge starts today
the theme this month is
'Christmas Feast (food and/or drink)'
we are sponsored by Doctor Digi and the digi stamp I got to play with is Christmas Cheer
here is my take
they do look very cheerful
I decided to use my alcohol embossing folder which I had not used!!
I rubbed ink over the ridges to give it some colour, it didn't quite go as I imagined but I was happy with it
I finished off the background with red card and glitter glue
The cheerful guys were coloured, cut out and glued in the centre
and I added a die cut sentiment

here is my take
The reindeer is stamped and coloured and I hand drew the snow
I wanted a round sentiment so found one that would work and heat embossed and die cut it out
I coloured the back with distress ink and drew a glitter glue line around the picture

This is a cool stamp that I got in a set and hadn't used yet so I thought that the time had come
so I stamped, coloured and added the bird on a branch and a sentiment from the same set
